Release platforms at a glance
The launch covers current PC and console hardware, but each platform has a different purchase route. This table separates the three platform families from the individual PC storefronts so you can find the correct version without treating every store as a separate port.

The official launch materials name PS5 and Xbox Series X|S rather than older PlayStation 4 or Xbox One hardware. A Nintendo Switch 2 edition has not been officially confirmed. Treat any unsupported-platform listing as separate from the verified launch lineup until EA announces it.
Windows PC release
The Windows version launched simultaneously on Steam, the EA app, and Epic Games Store. Steam lists the base game at $49.99 in the US, with regional prices varying by country and storefront. There is no official macOS or Linux release in the Steam platform data.
Choose the store around the library and account you already use. The storefront determines where you buy, download, update, and request a refund; it does not represent a different campaign. Check the local listing before payment because currencies, taxes, language information, and refund rules are storefront-specific.

PlayStation 5 release
The PS5 version released on August 27 alongside PC and Xbox. It is a native current-generation console release, not an announced PS4 edition. Buyers should use the PlayStation Store for the live regional price and digital edition details.
The important edition wrinkle is price: EA announced the Digital Deluxe Edition at $69.99 on consoles, compared with $59.99 on PC. The Standard Edition remains the straightforward way to get the full tactics campaign, while Deluxe adds cosmetic packs and weapon themes rather than a separate story route.
A physical listing, retailer bonus, or discounted copy can differ by region, so read what is actually included instead of relying on the cover image. Cross-save, cross-buy, and save transfer between PS5 and another platform have not been officially confirmed in the sources used for this guide.
Xbox Series X|S release
STAR WARS Zero Company is available on Xbox Series X and Series S as part of the same August 27 launch. The official wording is “Xbox Series consoles,” which does not establish an Xbox One version.
Series X and Series S owners buy through the same Xbox ecosystem, but storage, display setup, and local pricing remain practical considerations. Check the store page on the console or web before buying, especially when comparing Standard with the more expensive console Deluxe package.

Why the August 2026 launch matters
Zero Company is Bit Reactor’s debut title, published by Electronic Arts and made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. It is a single-player, turn-based tactics game set during the twilight of the Clone Wars rather than a multiplayer shooter or live-service squad game.
The campaign follows former Republic officer Hawks and a mixed team of operatives recruited by Republic Intelligence. Their fight against the Infinite Coil moves between tactical missions and decisions aboard The Den, the company’s base. That structure makes the release notable for bringing a purpose-built tactics campaign to the Star Wars setting.
It also arrives as a conventional premium release. The announced $49.99 Standard price buys the base campaign, while the higher-priced versions focus on cosmetic or physical extras. No competitive multiplayer component is part of the official product description, so platform choice is mainly about hardware, storefront, and where you prefer to maintain a single-player library.
Launch day also set a clean baseline for future platform claims: PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S are confirmed, while other systems require a later official announcement.
